Majors Division (60' field) - (open to 10, 11 and 12-year-old boys & girls)
Typically appropriate for children in: 5th - 6th - 7th grade
Prerequisite: players have 1-2 years of Minors experience
This division represents the highest level of play on the 60' diamond
While the competitive feel increases at this level, coaches continue to focus on refining and improving skills, team building and teaching the game. Playing time may not necessarily be equal among players at the Majors level.
All 10-year-old players new to Majors Division must exhibit the appropriate skills necessary for this level of play.
Season begins each March with spring training with games beginning in mid/late April for about seven weeks, followed by playoffs ending in mid/late June. There are typically 2 to 3 games scheduled per week.
